OVERVIEW 1936-R is one of the fastest optical instruments on the market. The latest Android-based operating system and 7" high-brightness touchscreen have greatly improved the user interface. Thanks to high-bandwidth electronic design and high-speed digital processing, it can currently achieve a measurement rate of up to 10 kHz with time stamps, and this may reach up to 100 kHz in future firmware updates. Multiple graphics, multiple color settings, and multiple language settings are available. Advanced functions can be used, such as zoom, analog filtering, averaging, triggering, and pass/fail judgment with warning audio. The fast analog output allows integration with external data acquisition devices or signal analysis using an oscilloscope. Currently, USB and RS-232 communication methods are supported, and Wi-Fi and Ethernet will be added in future firmware upgrades, which can be easily done by users. The extremely simple logging function and its compatibility with the powerful PMManagerTM control software ensure the most comprehensive measurement data is obtained.
